KILONEWTONS is seeking a highly skilled Tekla Modeler to join our team working on the prestigious Dubai Metro Blue Line project. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in 3D modeling, steel detailing, and BIM coordination, ensuring precision and efficiency in structural modeling.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Create and manage detailed 3D models using Tekla Structures for the Dubai Metro Blue Line project.
✔ Generate accurate fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and assembly details.
✔ Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless BIM coordination.
✔ Review and resolve clashes in models using Navisworks or other BIM tools.
✔ Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
✔ Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and assist in quantity take-offs.
✔ Optimize models for constructability and fabrication efficiency.
✔ Maintain version control and document revisions for project transparency.
✔ Support on-site teams with model-related queries and updates.
🛠️ Required Skills & Software Proficiency:
✔ Expertise in Tekla Structures (Steel & Concrete Detailing).
✔ Strong knowledge of BIM (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD).
✔ Experience in large-scale infrastructure/metro projects.
✔ Understanding of IS, BS, AISC, and Eurocodes.
✔ Ability to work under tight deadlines with high accuracy.
✔ Excellent communication & teamwork skills.
