📋 Responsibilities of the STRUCTURAL ENGINEER:
- Design, analyze, and review structural systems and components ensuring safety, stability, and durability 🏢
- Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and reports using advanced engineering software
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure design integration and compliance
- Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications 👷♂️
- Identify and resolve structural issues during project lifecycle proactively
- Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, codes, and standards
- Perform load calculations, material selection, and structural modeling
- Lead risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for structural integrity
- Utilize software such as ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and STAAD.Pro for design and analysis 💻
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in structural engineering projects
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software: ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of international and UAE building codes and standards
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently
- Experience with construction supervision and quality control is a plus
