📝 Key Responsibilities & Duties:
As a Site Engineer at KILONEWTONS, you will be responsible for:
- 📐 Planning and setting out site works, ensuring all engineering aspects align with project specifications and drawings.
- 🖥️ Utilizing engineering software for:
- Design and drafting (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Project scheduling and planning (MS Project, Primavera P6)
- Quantity surveying and measurements
- Technical reporting and documentation
- ✅ Supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- 📊 Monitoring work progress, preparing daily reports, and maintaining accurate site records.
- 🛡️ Implementing and enforcing all KILONEWTONS and project-specific Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols.
- 🤝 Coordinating with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and workforce to ensure seamless project execution.
- 🔧 Resolving technical issues on site, providing practical engineering solutions, and managing design queries.
- 📋 Conducting material inspections, quality checks, and approving work methodologies.
- 💡 Managing site surveys, levels, and measurements using modern surveying equipment.
✅ Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of site engineering experience in building construction, with specific and verifiable experience in the Gulf region (GCC).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
- MUST HAVE proficiency with relevant engineering software:
- Design & Drafting: AutoCAD (mandatory), Revit (preferred)
- Project Management: MS Project and/or Primavera P6
- Office Suite: Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Surveying Tools: Total Station, GPS equipment
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations in the Gulf region.
- Strong technical reporting and communication skills in English.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Professional membership or engineering license is an advantage.
