📝 Key Responsibilities & Duties:
As a Roofer at KILONEWTONS, you will be entrusted with:
- 🛠️ Installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems including metal, shingle, tile, and built-up roofs.
- 📐 Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to determine the scope and specifications of roofing projects.
- ✔️ Inspecting roof structures to assess materials and work required, ensuring all surfaces are prepared correctly.
- 🛡️ Strictly adhering to all KILONEWTONS and site-specific health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies without compromise.
- 🔄 Measuring and cutting roofing materials to fit angles and edges with precision and minimal waste.
- 🤝 Collaborating effectively with construction managers, supervisors, and other trades on site.
- 🌡️ Applying waterproofing and weather-proofing membranes and coatings.
- 🧹 Ensuring a clean and hazard-free work area during and upon completion of all tasks.
✅ Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Roofer position will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional roofing experience, with specific and verifiable experience in the Gulf region (GCC).
- Comprehensive knowledge of different roofing materials, techniques, and tools.
- Proven ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- A strong, unwavering commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- The physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and equipment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Relevant vocational training or certification in roofing is a significant advantage.
