📋 Position Overview

KILONEWTONS is seeking a highly skilled, meticulous, and tech-savvy REVIT SPECIALIST to spearhead our Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital drafting, and advanced structural visualization operations in Dubai 🏙️. In this vital role, you will create, manage, and optimize complex 3D parametric models, master blueprints, and fabrication drawings for our high-profile industrial, commercial, and mega-infrastructure projects. Your digital craftsmanship will serve as the architectural blueprint for our structural engineering excellence.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

BIM Modeling & Architecture: Develop, manage, and refine detailed 3D Revit models for heavy industrial structures, steel fabrication frameworks, and civil engineering works. 📐
Family Creation & Standardization: Design, build, and maintain a robust library of custom Revit families, parametric components, and standardized templates tailored to company standards. 🗂️
Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Lead clash detection sessions and coordinate spatial models seamlessly with structural engineers, MEP teams, architects, and construction managers using Navisworks and BIM 360. 🤝
Shop & Fabrication Drawing Generation: Produce accurate, construction-ready shop drawings, framing plans, elevations, and schedules directly from the parametric model. 📊
Data Integrity & Quality Control: Enforce strict BIM standards, naming conventions, and quality assurance protocols to ensure error-free data transfer across project lifecycles. 🛡️
Workflow Optimization: Troubleshoot modeling bottlenecks, automate repetitive tasks using Dynamo scripts, and streamline digital collaboration across distributed engineering teams. ⚡
Technical Documentation: Author BIM execution plans (BEP), modeling guidelines, and comprehensive digital handover documentation for project stakeholders. 📝

🛠️ Required Qualifications & Experience

Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Revit modeling and BIM coordination experience within the heavy construction, steel fabrication, or civil engineering sector. ⏱️
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Drafting, or a related technical discipline. Professional BIM certifications are highly preferred. 🎓
Software Proficiency: Expert command of Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structure, and MEP), AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, and Dynamo (for visual programming/automation), alongside familiarity with STAAD.Pro or Tekla Structures (for cross-referencing structural analysis models and steel detailing). 💻
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of BIM standards (ISO 19650), construction detailing, spatial coordination, and steel connection constructability. 🏗️
