KILONEWTONS is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and highly strategic PROJECT MANAGER to spearhead our large-scale heavy civil, structural engineering, and industrial construction operations in Turkey 🇹🇷. In this pivotal leadership role, you will direct projects from inception to handover—overseeing scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and cross-functional execution. Your leadership will ensure our engineering ventures are delivered on time, within budget, and to our exacting standards of unyielding structural integrity.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Project Lifecycle Leadership: Direct and oversee all phases of heavy industrial and structural construction projects across Turkey, ensuring adherence to master schedules and budgetary baselines. 🧭
Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage comprehensive project financials, including cost estimation tracking, cash flow forecasting, variance analysis, and profit margin optimization. 💰
Resource & Subcontractor Management: Source, vet, and coordinate third-party contractors, suppliers, and engineering teams, negotiating contracts and supervising on-site execution. 🤝
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with structural engineers, BIM specialists, procurement teams, and safety officers to align daily operations with overarching project milestones. 🤝
Risk Management & Mitigation: Proactively identify logistical, financial, or engineering bottlenecks, implementing rapid corrective actions to prevent project delays. ⚡
Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply strictly with Turkish building codes, international engineering standards, and occupational health and safety (OH&S) regulations. 🛡️
Stakeholder & Client Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for executive leadership and international clients, delivering detailed progress reports, milestone reviews, and financial updates. 📊

🛠️ Required Qualifications & Experience

Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive project management experience within the heavy construction, steel fabrication, or civil engineering sector. ⏱️
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline. PMP certification is highly preferred. 🎓
Software Proficiency: Advanced command of enterprise project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore), alongside AutoCAD and Revit (for blueprint reviews), and STAAD.Pro or Tekla Structures (for structural load and design oversight). 💻
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction methodologies, procurement supply chains, structural steel erection, and contract frameworks (e.g., FIDIC). 🏗️
Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English; fluency in Turkish (spoken and written) is mandatory for local regulatory liaison, subcontractor negotiations, and site crew management. 🗣️
