⚙️ Key Responsibilities
As an OFFSHORE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER, you will:
- 🌊 Design and analyze offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, and subsea structures
- 📐 Perform structural integrity assessments and finite element analysis (FEA)
- 🏗️ Prepare design reports, drawings, and specifications for offshore assets
- 🧮 Execute code checks using international standards (API, DNV, ISO, AISC, etc.)
- 🔍 Conduct fatigue, dynamic, seismic, and load-out analyses
- 🛠️ Coordinate with project managers, naval architects, and clients
- 🧪 Review fabrication and installation procedures for structural systems
- 📅 Ensure compliance with project timelines, safety standards, and QA/QC protocols
- 📊 Prepare technical documentation and participate in design reviews
🎓 Required Qualifications & Skills
✅ Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore structural engineering
✅ Strong working knowledge of:
- SACS
- STAAD.Pro
- OrcaFlex
- ANSYS / ABAQUS (for FEA)
- AutoCAD / Revit
- MathCAD, MS Excel, and MS Project
✅ Proficiency in international offshore codes and standards (API RP 2A, ISO 19901, DNVGL)
✅ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
✅ Strong communication and teamwork abilities
✅ Experience in offshore construction or field support is a plus
