Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) division in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems for large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects. You will work closely with our structural and civil engineering teams to ensure that all HVAC, piping, and mechanical infrastructure integrates seamlessly with our architectural visions.

Key Responsibilities: * Design and review mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, for complex building projects.

  • Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure clash-free integration of mechanical systems within the overall building design.

  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment on-site, ensuring adherence to technical specifications.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with local Indian engineering codes, safety standards, and project requirements.

  • Prepare detailed technical reports, material take-offs, and cost estimates for mechanical components.

Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the construction or heavy engineering industry, specifically handling MEP scope.

  • Strong proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, and other related 3D modeling tools.

  • In-depth knowledge of Indian building codes (IS codes), HVAC load calculation, and thermodynamics.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues on construction sites.
