📋 Key Responsibilities
As a MECHANICAL ENGINEER at KILONEWTONS, your role will include:
- 🛠️ Designing and analyzing mechanical systems for construction and industrial projects
- 🔍 Performing technical calculations and simulations (stress, heat transfer, etc.)
- 🏗️ Reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs
- ⚙️ Coordinating with cross-functional teams including structural and electrical engineers
- 🧾 Preparing project documentation, reports, and equipment specifications
- 💨 Designing and reviewing HVAC, piping, and fire-fighting systems
- 📆 Ensuring projects are executed within budget and schedule
- ✔️ Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and engineering codes
- 🔧 Supporting installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities
🎓 Required Skills & Qualifications
✅ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and project execution
✅ Proficiency in relevant software, including:
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks / Inventor
- ANSYS / FEA tools
- HAP / DuctSizer / PipeFlow
- MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
✅ Knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, ASME, ISO, NFPA)
✅ Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
✅ Experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors is a plus
