About KILONEWTONS: KILONEWTONS is a forward-thinking global engineering and construction firm dedicated to delivering high-quality, structurally sound, and innovative projects. We specialize in bringing complex architectural visions to life through precise engineering execution.
Role Overview: We are seeking a visionary Machine Learning Engineer to join our technology hub in Silicon Valley. In this role, you will lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models that optimize our global engineering workflows and power our digital platforms. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between heavy structural engineering and cutting-edge artificial intelligence, extracting actionable insights from complex construction data and bringing intelligent, predictive features to our cross-platform mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities: * Design, train, and deploy scalable machine learning models to solve complex problems in structural analysis, predictive site maintenance, and construction logistics.
-
Process and analyze large, complex datasets generated from 3D structural models (such as Revit and Tekla) and real-time on-site construction metrics.
-
Integrate machine learning capabilities seamlessly into our custom internal software and user-facing mobile applications to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
-
Collaborate closely with software developers, backend engineers, and structural experts to ensure ML models are robust, highly performant, and securely integrated into our cloud infrastructure.
-
Continuously monitor, evaluate, and fine-tune deployed models to ensure maximum accuracy and adapt to new architectural and engineering data streams.
Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related highly quantitative field.
-
Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist, with a strong portfolio of deployed ML models in production environments.
-
Deep technical proficiency in Python and industry-standard machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
-
Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms, RESTful APIs, and integrating ML solutions with backend-as-a-service environments like Firebase.
-
Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills and a strong desire to apply machine learning innovations to the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sectors.
How to Apply: Please submit your resume, a link to your GitHub (or equivalent portfolio of ML projects), and a cover letter through our website at www.kilonewtons.com/careers.
