Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to join our regional office in Abu Dhabi. You will be the primary point of contact for technical assistance, ensuring that our corporate staff, on-site engineers, and management teams have the reliable technology they need to operate seamlessly. You will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and supporting the critical digital infrastructure—from everyday office networks to specialized structural engineering software.
Key Responsibilities: * Provide fast and effective Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and in-person at the Abu Dhabi office.

Install, configure, and maintain hardware systems, including workstations, laptops, printers, and on-site communication devices.

Manage software installations, updates, and licensing for standard office applications as well as specialized engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures).

Administer routine system backups, perform OS upgrades, and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive corporate and client data.

Troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and Wi-Fi connectivity issues, occasionally assisting with remote site network setups.
Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician, IT Support Specialist, or similar role, preferably within a corporate or engineering environment.

Strong working knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and hardware diagnostics.

Familiarity with managing users in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and handling remote desktop support.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a patient, customer-oriented approach to resolving technical issues for non-technical staff.
