👨🚒 Job Summary
KILONEWTONS is seeking a qualified and experienced Fire Protection Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join its engineering team in Dubai. The role involves designing, reviewing, and implementing fire protection and life safety systems in compliance with NFPA, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and international standards.
📌 Key Responsibilities
✅ Design fire protection and life safety systems (sprinklers, fire alarm, suppression systems)
✅ Prepare fire protection layouts, calculations, and technical drawings
✅ Ensure compliance with NFPA, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and project specifications
✅ Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and structural teams
✅ Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
✅ Liaise with Civil Defense and other authorities for approvals
✅ Conduct fire risk assessments and engineering evaluations
✅ Support site teams with inspections, testing, and commissioning
✅ Ensure quality control and adherence to HSE requirements
✅ Prepare technical reports and documentation
🎯 Experience & Qualifications
🔹 Minimum 5 YEARS of experience as a Fire Protection Engineer
🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
🔹 Experience with UAE Civil Defense approvals is preferred
🔹 Strong knowledge of fire suppression and detection systems
🔹 Excellent coordination and communication skills
