📋 Position Overview

KILONEWTONS is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and highly experienced FACTORY MANAGER to spearhead our advanced metal production, heavy industrial manufacturing, and plant floor operations in Sharjah 🏙️. In this crucial leadership role, you will direct end-to-end manufacturing workflows, steel fabrication processes, machinery throughput, and quality control protocols. Your operational expertise will ensure that every structural component produced at our facility meets our uncompromising benchmarks for strength, safety, and precision.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Plant Operations Leadership: Direct and optimize daily manufacturing, cutting, assembly, welding, and finishing operations across our heavy industrial production plant. ⚙️
Quality Assurance & Compliance: Enforce stringent quality control (QC) frameworks, material standards, and testing protocols to guarantee zero-defect outputs for structural steel assemblies. 🛡️
Workforce & Resource Management: Supervise workshop supervisors, master welders, machine operators, and maintenance crews, fostering a culture of strict shop-floor safety and high productivity. 👥
Equipment Maintenance & OEE Optimization: Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for heavy machinery, including CNC plasma cutters, hydraulic press brakes, rolling machines, and overhead cranes. 🔧
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with structural engineers, BIM/drafting teams, procurement, and project logistics managers to align manufacturing sequences with global delivery schedules. 🤝
Safety & Regulatory Protocols: Ensure all plant activities comply strictly with UAE industrial safety laws, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations. 🦺
Cost Control & Lean Manufacturing: Monitor raw material utilization, minimize production waste, and implement lean manufacturing principles to maximize cost efficiency and plant throughput. 📊

🛠️ Required Qualifications & Experience

Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive factory management, plant leadership, or heavy manufacturing operations experience within the steel fabrication, iron, or heavy civil engineering sector. ⏱️
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical discipline. Certifications in lean manufacturing or welding inspection are highly preferred. 🎓
Software Proficiency: Advanced command of enterprise manufacturing ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) tools, alongside AutoCAD and Tekla Structures (for reviewing fabrication shop drawings and structural details), and STAAD.Pro. 💻
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of metallurgy, structural steel welding standards (AWS/ISO), non-destructive testing (NDT), and heavy automated machinery operation. 🔩
Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English; fluency in Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is considered a strong advantage for regional workforce communication. 🗣️
