📝 Key Responsibilities & Duties:
As an Excavator Operator at KILONEWTONS, you will be responsible for:
- 🎮 Operating heavy excavators and other machinery to perform tasks including excavation, trenching, grading, and material handling with precision.
- 📐 Reading and interpreting site plans, grade stakes, and GPS systems to ensure accurate digging depths and slopes.
- ✅ Conducting thorough pre-start inspections and performing basic maintenance and cleaning on the equipment, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- 🛡️ Strictly adhering to all KILONEWTONS and site-specific Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, ensuring a safe work zone for yourself and others.
- 🤝 Collaborating effectively with ground crew, surveyors, and site supervisors to understand task requirements and execute work efficiently.
- 🔄 Ensuring the excavator is always positioned on stable and level ground, using appropriate mats or tracks as required.
- 💧 Loading trucks with exact quantities of materials and assisting with site drainage and leveling work.
- 🧹 Maintaining a clean and organized machine and work area.
✅ Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional excavator operation experience, with specific and verifiable experience in the Gulf region (GCC).
- Proficiency in operating various sizes and models of excavators for different construction applications.
- A valid, heavy equipment operator license/certification relevant to the GCC region.
- An impeccable safety record and a deep-rooted commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- The ability to read and understand civil drawings and site plans.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
