📋 Key Responsibilities
As a DRAFTSMAN at KILONEWTONS, your main responsibilities will include:
- ✏️ Preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and schematics for engineering projects
- 🧱 Drafting civil, structural, MEP, and/or offshore plans as per project requirements
- 📐 Translating conceptual sketches and engineer input into accurate CAD drawings
- 📊 Maintaining drawing revisions, file organization, and project documentation
- 🔍 Ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and company guidelines
- 🏗️ Coordinating with engineers and architects to resolve design conflicts
- 📅 Assisting with preparation of as-built drawings and shop drawings
- 🛠️ Supporting the design team during design reviews and project updates
🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications
✅ Minimum 5 years of experience as a Draftsman in an engineering or construction firm
✅ Strong knowledge of drafting principles and drawing standards
✅ Expertise in the following software/tools:
- AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
- Revit
- Civil 3D (for civil/infrastructure projects)
- Tekla / STAAD Detailer / Navisworks (optional, for structural detailing)
- MS Office (Word, Excel)
✅ Familiarity with local and international design codes
✅ Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
✅ Excellent teamwork and communication skills
