🎯 Job Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at KILONEWTONS, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients ensuring every interaction is handled with care, clarity, and efficiency. You’ll manage customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support that reflects KILONEWTONS’ commitment to quality and reliability.

This is a full-time, office-based position located in Colombo, Sri Lanka.


📞 Key Responsibilities

  • 💬 Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.
  • 🤝 Provide accurate information regarding KILONEWTONS’ products, services, and solutions.
  • 🧾 Record and track customer interactions using CRM software.
  • 🧩 Resolve product or service-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • 📊 Maintain detailed logs of customer feedback, complaints, and resolutions.
  • 🔄 Coordinate with internal departments (sales, engineering, logistics) to ensure timely responses.
  • 📈 Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • 💡 Suggest process improvements to enhance overall service quality.
  • 🧠 Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and industry trends.

💻 Required Skills & Software Proficiency

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in customer support tools and software, such as:
    • Zendesk / Freshdesk / Salesforce CRM
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
    • Live Chat Platforms (Intercom, Tawk.to, or Drift)
  • Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
  • Empathy, patience, and professionalism under pressure.
  • Strong command of English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

🎓 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service or client relations.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, call center software, and service reporting tools.
  • Previous experience in an engineering or technical services company is an advantage.
