Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced BIM Engineer with minimum 5 years of hands-on BIM coordination experience in MEP, structural, or architectural disciplines. The successful candidate will lead BIM implementation, manage model coordination, and ensure seamless integration of BIM processes across projects in compliance with Qatari BIM standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, and related software
- Lead clash detection, resolution, and coordination between all building systems
- Implement and enforce company BIM standards and Qatari BIM mandates (QCDD, Ashghal requirements)
- Generate construction documentation, shop drawings, and as-built models
- Conduct BIM coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
- Train and support project teams in BIM workflows and best practices
- Ensure model accuracy for quantity take-offs, scheduling, and facility management
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil) or Architecture
- 5+ years BIM experience, with minimum 2 years in GCC projects
- Expert-level proficiency in:
- Autodesk Revit (MEP/Structure/Architecture)
- Navisworks Manage
- BIM 360/ACC
- Dynamo (preferred)
- Thorough understanding of:
- COBie standards
- LOD 300-500 requirements
- Qatari BIM guidelines
- Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 standards
- Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills
