We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations in Karachi. If you’re passionate about accuracy, compliance, and financial strategy, this role is for you!
🧮 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Manage full-cycle accounting (AP/AR, GL, reconciliations)
✔ Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
✔ Ensure compliance with Pakistani tax laws (Income Tax, Sales Tax, EOBI)
✔ Handle payroll processing and employee benefits accounting
✔ Liaise with auditors and tax authorities
✔ Implement cost control measures
✔ Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
✔ Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
💻 Must-Have Skills & Software:
✅ Accounting Software: QuickBooks, Oracle Financials, or SAP
✅ Advanced Excel: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling
✅ Tax Filing: FBR e-filing, Sales Tax returns
✅ Payroll Systems: Familiarity with local payroll requirements
✅ Languages: Fluent English & Urdu
🎓 Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (ACCA/CA part-qualified preferred)
✔ 5+ years accounting experience (construction/engineering sector a plus)
✔ Thorough knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
