📌 Job Overview

KILONEWTONS is looking for a highly skilled Contract Manager to lead our Abu Dhabi commercial operations. You will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing high-value contracts while ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

✔ Contract Lifecycle Management:

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts (FIDIC, NEC, etc.)
• Manage contract amendments, extensions & terminations
• Ensure contract compliance with UAE laws & regulations

✔ Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate commercial & legal risks
• Develop contractual dispute resolution strategies
• Conduct contractual risk assessments

✔ Commercial Oversight:

• Monitor contract performance & obligations
• Manage payment terms, penalties & incentives
• Optimize contractual terms for cost efficiency

✔ Stakeholder Coordination:

• Liaise with legal, finance & project teams
• Advise senior management on contractual matters
• Maintain contract documentation & databases

✔ Process Improvement:

• Develop standard contract templates & clauses
• Implement digital contract management systems
• Train teams on contract best practices

🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Technical Expertise:

• 10+ years in contract management (construction/oil & gas preferred)
• Expert knowledge of FIDIC & UAE contract law
• Strong negotiation & analytical skills

✔ Software & Tools:

• Contract Management: Ariba, Concord, or similar
• Document Management: SharePoint, DocuSign
• MS Office Suite: Advanced Excel & Word

✔ Essential Skills:

• Excellent communication & leadership
• Ability to manage multiple high-value contracts
• Fluency in English (Arabic a strong plus)

✔ Education:

• Degree in Law, Business, or Quantity Surveying
• Professional certification (e.g., ICCM, CCM) preferred
