🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical Design & Prototyping: Engineer comprehensive mechanical systems, machine components, material handling equipment, and heavy industrial assemblies from concept to final production. 📐
• Thermal & Fluid Systems Analysis: Conduct rigorous calculations and simulations for fluid dynamics, heat transfer, stress distribution, and mechanical load capacities. 📊
• Equipment Specification & Sizing: Select, size, and specify mission-critical hardware including motors, gearboxes, hydraulic/pneumatic actuators, pumps, and structural linkages. ⚙️
• Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Partner seamlessly with structural engineers, electrical teams, and fabrication managers to integrate mechanical loads, piping routes, and equipment anchoring into master blueprints. 🤝
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Oversee factory acceptance testing (FAT), stress testing, and quality control protocols for heavy industrial machinery and fabricated components. 🛡️
• Maintenance & Reliability Engineering: Develop preventive maintenance schedules, diagnose mechanical failures, and implement root-cause corrective actions to minimize downtime. 🔧
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all mechanical designs and shop floor operations comply strictly with Indian industrial standards, ISO guidelines, and OSHA safety protocols. 📜

🛠️ Required Qualifications & Experience

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience focused on machine design, heavy industrial equipment, or manufacturing plant operations. ⏱️
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 🎓
• Software Proficiency: Advanced command of industry-standard mechanical design and simulation software, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or ANSYS (for FEA/CFD analysis), alongside STAAD.Pro or Tekla Structures (for evaluating structural-mechanical interfaces and equipment loads). 💻
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of machine kinematics, metallurgy, welding standards, hydraulic systems, and manufacturing tolerances. 🔩
• Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English; local language skills (Marathi/Hindi) are an advantage for regional workshop coordination. 🗣️
