📋 Key Responsibilities

  • Dynamic & Seismic Analysis: Spearhead advanced modal, harmonic, spectral, and transient dynamic analyses of complex structures, heavy machinery foundations, and industrial frameworks. 💻
  • Vibration Mitigation & Control: Design and optimize vibration dampening systems, tuned mass dampers (TMDs), and base isolation mechanisms to control structural responses under severe dynamic forces. 🛡️
  • Code Compliance & Safety Standards: Ensure all structural designs strictly adhere to Japanese building codes (BCJ), international seismic standards (ASCE 7, Eurocodes), and KILONEWTONS quality benchmarks. 📐
  • Finite Element Modeling: Build high-fidelity finite element models to simulate complex fluid-structure interactions, shock loading, and fatigue life expectancy under cyclic stresses. ⚙️

🛠️ Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in structural dynamics, earthquake engineering, or advanced finite element modeling within the heavy construction or industrial sector. ⏳
  • Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or a related technical discipline (Ph.D. in Structural Dynamics is a strong plus). 🎓
