📋 Key Responsibilities

  • Full Stack Architecture & Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable front-end and back-end web applications supporting www.kilonewtons.com and internal enterprise tools. ⚙️
  • Front-End Engineering: Build lightning-fast, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Next.js, or Vue) with immaculate attention to UI/UX standards. ✨
  • Back-End & Serverless Integration: Develop secure RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures (leveraging platforms like Cloudflare Workers, Node.js, or Python). 🌐
  • Database & Storage Management: Architect, optimize, and maintain relational and non-relational databases (such as D1, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) alongside cloud object storage solutions (R2/S3). 🗄️
  • Performance Optimization & Caching: Implement advanced caching strategies, optimize web asset delivery, and ensure high availability, low latency, and cross-browser compatibility. ⚡
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with UI/UX designers, data scientists, and digital marketing teams to integrate seamless digital features, custom WordPress plugins, and automated workflows. 🤝

🛠️ Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience building production-grade full stack web applications. ⏳
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. 🎓
  • Software Proficiency:
    • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/Tailwind CSS. 💻
    • Expertise in back-end runtimes and frameworks (Node.js, Express, or Python/Django) and serverless deployment workflows (Wrangler CLI, Cloudflare Workers). 🖥️
    • Hands-on experience with database querying (SQL, NoSQL), version control (Git/GitHub), and WordPress custom theme/plugin development (PHP, AJAX, REST API integration). 📂
  • Technical & Soft Skills: Deep understanding of web security principles (OAuth, CORS, JWT), CI/CD pipelines, API design patterns, exceptional analytical problem-solving, and agile teamwork. 🌟
