In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex industrial and digital workflows into intuitive, elegant, and engaging user interfaces across web and mobile platforms. 📋 Key Responsibilities

  • User Experience Strategy: Conduct user research, define user personas, map customer journeys, and create wireframes and low-to-high-fidelity prototypes to solve complex UX challenges. 🧠
  • Interface Design & UI Systems: Craft visually stunning, modern, and accessible user interfaces that align seamlessly with KILONEWTONS brand guidelines and digital standards. 🖥️
  • Design Systems Management: Build, scale, and maintain comprehensive design systems and component libraries to ensure cross-platform consistency across www.kilonewtons.com and our mobile applications. 📚
  • Collaboration & Handoff: Partner closely with product managers, front-end developers, and software engineers to ensure seamless design implementation and adherence to specifications. 🤝
  • Usability Testing & Optimization: Plan and execute usability tests, gather user feedback, and iterate on designs using data-driven insights to continuously improve user engagement. 📊
  • Brand Asset Integration: Collaborate with our digital and marketing teams to ensure consistent typography, iconography, and visual hierarchy across all digital touchpoints. 🎨

🛠️ Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex web applications, mobile apps, or enterprise digital platforms. ⏳
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field. 🎓
  • Software Proficiency:
    • Advanced mastery of industry-standard design and prototyping tools including Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). 💻
    • Familiarity with user research tools (Hotjar, UserTesting) and basic front-end concepts (HTML/CSS, responsive layouts) to collaborate effectively with developers. ⚙️
