Role Overview: We are seeking a visionary and highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our European technology division in Spain. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the robust cloud infrastructure that powers our global engineering operations and suite of digital products. You will bridge the gap between heavy structural engineering data and modern software execution, ensuring that our cross-platform mobile applications, internal enterprise tools, and complex BIM databases operate with flawless scalability, security, and real-time synchronization.

Key Responsibilities: * Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures to support KILONEWTONS’ expanding digital platforms and global construction operations.

Oversee the backend infrastructure for our mobile and web applications, maximizing the capabilities of platforms like Firebase while integrating them with broader cloud ecosystems (such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure).
Ensure robust data management and synchronization, connecting heavy on-site engineering software outputs (Revit, Tekla, Staad.pro) with our centralized corporate databases.
Implement stringent cloud security protocols, automated disaster recovery plans, and continuous system backups to safeguard sensitive structural data and proprietary enterprise tools.
Collaborate closely with software engineers, AI specialists, and mobile application developers to optimize overall system performance, reduce latency, and ensure continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines run flawlessly.

Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Proven track record (5+ years) as a Cloud Architect or Senior Cloud Engineer, successfully managing enterprise-level cloud deployments.
Deep technical expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and a strong command of backend-as-a-service (BaaS) environments like Firebase.
Solid hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), microservices architecture, and modern DevOps practices.
Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, professional working proficiency in English (fluency in Spanish is a strong plus), and the ability to align complex cloud infrastructure with dynamic business and engineering goals.
