Role Overview: We are seeking a highly technical and experienced Offshore Structural Engineer to join our specialized marine and energy division in Muscat. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the structural design, analysis, and integrity management of complex offshore installations, including fixed platforms, jackets, and topsides. You will ensure that our offshore structures can withstand the harshest marine environments, adhering to the uncompromising precision and safety standards that define KILONEWTONS’ global engineering portfolio.

Key Responsibilities: * Perform advanced structural analysis and design for offshore structures, including static, dynamic, fatigue, and seismic assessments.

  • Develop precise 3D structural models and detailed calculations utilizing industry-standard software such as Staad.pro, Tekla Structures, and specialized offshore tools (e.g., SACS or SESAM).

  • Ensure all structural designs strictly comply with international offshore design codes and standards, such as API, DNV, and ISO.

  • Coordinate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams—including piping, subsea, and marine engineering disciplines—to resolve complex spatial and constructability clashes.

  • Provide critical technical support during the fabrication, load-out, transportation, and offshore installation phases of the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or a closely related field.

  • Proven track record (5+ years) as a Structural Engineer focused specifically on offshore or heavy marine infrastructure projects.

  • Advanced proficiency in structural analysis software (Staad.pro is essential) and familiarity with detailed BIM modeling tools like Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.

  • Deep technical knowledge of offshore environmental loads, wave dynamics, structural steel design, and relevant marine codes (API, DNVGL).

  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes engineering environment.
