Role Overview: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to our commercial and heavy engineering projects, from initial calculations to final figures. You will seek to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while ensuring that the uncompromising quality and structural integrity of our projects are maintained. You will collaborate closely with structural engineers, project managers, and external vendors to ensure seamless financial and contractual execution.

Key Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed tender and contract documents, including precise bills of quantities (BOQ), in coordination with our architectural and engineering teams.

  • Perform meticulous cost analysis, estimation, and value engineering for large-scale industrial and commercial construction projects.

  • Implement rigorous cost control measures, continuously tracking project budgets, material costs, and labor expenses to prevent cost overruns.

  • Evaluate subcontractor bids, negotiate contracts, and process progress payments based on accurate, on-site measurements of work completed.

  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial progress reports, variation assessments, and final accounts to senior management and clients.

Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Economics, or a related field.

  • Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor in the commercial construction, infrastructure, or heavy engineering sectors.

  • Strong proficiency in industry-standard cost estimation software and familiarity with interpreting complex structural drawings and BIM models.

  • Exceptional numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills, with an unwavering attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
