Role Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and safety-conscious Warehouse Coordinator to manage our storage and distribution facility in Chicago. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and dispatching crucial construction materials, heavy equipment components, and engineering tools. You will ensure that our inventory is accurately tracked and that our site teams across the region receive the materials they need promptly to keep projects on schedule.
Key Responsibilities: * Oversee daily warehouse operations, including the safe and efficient receiving, processing, staging, and dispatching of construction materials and equipment.

Maintain highly accurate digital and physical inventory records, conducting regular audits to prevent shortages and identify discrepancies.

Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to load and unload heavy freight.

Coordinate with the Logistics and Procurement teams to track incoming shipments and schedule outgoing deliveries to active construction sites.

Enforce strict warehouse safety standards, keeping the facility clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications & Skills: * High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in supply chain or logistics is a plus.

Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator, Inventory Clerk, or similar role, preferably handling construction materials or heavy engineering parts.

Active forklift certification and experience operating standard warehouse machinery.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the physical stamina to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in basic computer applications and inventory management software.
