🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🖥️ Manage and maintain computer networks, hardware, and software across the organization
- 🔐 Monitor and implement network security protocols, firewalls, antivirus, and backups
- ⚙️ Provide technical support for staff on-site and remotely
- 📡 Administer company email systems, cloud storage, and server environments
- 🛠️ Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
- 🔄 Manage IT inventory, procurement, and license renewals
- 🧠 Document all IT processes, user manuals, and support logs
- 🕵️♂️ Identify, analyze, and resolve system faults and vulnerabilities
- 🔧 Ensure data integrity, availability, and confidentiality through backup and disaster recovery protocols
- 📊 Support internal digital tools and ERP systems as required
- 🤝 Collaborate with vendors and service providers for timely IT support
🧰 Required Skills & Software Proficiency
- ✅ Network Administration (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- ✅ Windows & Linux server administration
- ✅ Active Directory / Group Policy Management
- ✅ Firewall & antivirus solutions (e.g., Sophos, Fortinet)
- ✅ Office 365 / Microsoft 365 Administration
- ✅ Cloud Platforms: AWS / Azure (basic to intermediate knowledge)
- ✅ Backup and disaster recovery tools
- ✅ Helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Freshdesk, Zendesk, Jira)
- ✅ Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- ✅ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
🎓 Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT administration experience
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified, CCNA, or similar are a plus
- Experience in engineering or construction firms is an added advantage
