📌 Key Responsibilities:
🗓️ Develop detailed project schedules using advanced planning software (Primavera P6 / MS Project)
📊 Monitor and update project timelines to ensure timely delivery
🛠️ Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to align progress with planning
📈 Analyze project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions
📋 Prepare and submit weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and S-curves
📦 Track resources, materials, and manpower planning
📂 Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents for planning inputs
✅ Ensure compliance with project milestones and contractual obligations
🔄 Forecast project outcomes and proactively manage risks
💡 Required Skills & Software Proficiency:
🧠 Excellent understanding of project planning methodologies (CPM, PERT, etc.)
🖥️ Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
📐 Working knowledge of AutoCAD, ERP systems, and project tracking tools
📁 Experience preparing baseline schedules, resource histograms, and delay analysis
📢 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
⏱️ Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure
🎓 Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in planning & scheduling within construction/infrastructure projects
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of engineering projects
- Familiarity with IS codes, project workflows, and construction best practices
