Key Responsibilities 📝
As a Structural Engineer at KILONEWTONS, you will be at the heart of our project lifecycle. Your core duties will include:
- 🖥️ Design & Analysis: Performing structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and composite structures using industry-standard software.
- 📐 Detailed Design Development: Creating detailed calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports for various construction projects.
- 🤝 Collaboration: Working closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure design integrity and practicality.
- ✅ Compliance & Review: Ensuring all designs comply with relevant Indian and international codes and standards (e.g., IS, ACI, AISC).
- 🔍 Site Support: Conducting site visits, reviewing construction work, and resolving any technical issues that arise on the ground.
- 📊 Project Management: Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality results on schedule.
- 💡 Innovation: Contributing to value engineering and proposing innovative, cost-effective design solutions.
Skills & Software You MUST Know 🛠️
To excel in this role, you must be proficient in the following:
- Relevant Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Structural Analysis & Design principles.
- Strong understanding of building codes (IS 456, IS 800, IS 1893, etc.).
- Proficiency in preparing detailed technical reports and documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Essential Software:
- ETABS | STAAD.Pro | SAFE (Primary analysis and design tools)
- AutoCAD (For drawing review and detailing)
- MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Bonus Skills (Preferred):
- Revit Structure | Tekla Structures
- RCDC or similar detailing software.
- Experience with BIM methodologies.
