📝 Key Responsibilities & Duties:
As a Plumber at KILONEWTONS, your core duties will include:
- 🔧 Assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, and drainage systems.
- 📐 Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- ✔️ Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for leaks, functionality, and compliance with local codes and safety standards.
- 🛡️ Rigorously adhering to all KILONEWTONS and project-specific Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols at all times.
- 🔄 Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues within plumbing systems and performing effective repairs.
- 🤝 Collaborating seamlessly with project managers, engineers, and other trades on site to ensure project timelines are met.
- 🛠️ Installing and maintaining appliances like water heaters, toilets, sinks, and other related fixtures.
- 🧹 Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
✅ Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience, with specific and verifiable experience in the Gulf region (GCC).
- Proficiency in all aspects of plumbing, including PPR, PVC, CPVC, copper, and galvanized pipe systems.
- The ability to read and work from technical diagrams and blueprints.
- A deep-rooted commitment to workplace safety and quality craftsmanship.
- Good physical condition and the ability to work in various environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic.
- A relevant plumbing certification or vocational training diploma is mandatory.
