Are you a skilled HVAC professional with expertise in maintaining and repairing complex climate control systems? KILONEWTONS is seeking a certified HVAC Technician to join our facilities team in Dubai. If you have 5+ years of hands-on experience and a commitment to excellence, we want you to help us maintain optimal performance across our operations!
📋 Key Responsibilities & Duties:
As a vital member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for:
- System Maintenance: Performing routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems. 🛠️
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems, including compressor and refrigerant issues. 🔍
- Installation Support: Assisting in the installation of new HVAC equipment and ensuring proper commissioning and operation. 📦
- Emergency Response: Providing 24/7 emergency repair services for critical HVAC system failures when required. ⚡
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and equipment records using digital platforms. 📝
- Parts Management: Identifying required spare parts, preparing requisitions, and managing inventory levels. 📋
- Safety Compliance: Following all safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical systems, refrigerants, and mechanical equipment. ⚠️
- Client Interaction: Communicating effectively with clients and building occupants regarding maintenance activities and system status. 🤝
🛠️ Must-Have Skills & Software Proficiency:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- HVAC Certification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance and repair
- Valid UAE driver’s license is mandatory 🚗
- Expert knowledge of:
- Chiller systems (air-cooled and water-cooled) ❄️
- VRV/VRF systems
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Refrigeration cycle and refrigerant handling
- Electrical systems and controls
- Software Proficiency:
- BMS software interfaces
- CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) 💻
- Microsoft Office for reporting
- EPA/CFC certification or equivalent for refrigerant handling
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
