Are you a hands-on problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail? KILONEWTONS is seeking a seasoned Site Engineer to take charge of our construction projects in Tehran. If you have 5+ years of field experience and a passion for turning blueprints into reality, we want you to lead from the front lines!
📋 Key Responsibilities & Duties:
As the technical authority on our construction sites, you will be responsible for:
- Site Supervision & Management: Overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. ✅
- Technical Guidance: Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and plans for contractors and crew, providing clear technical direction and resolving any emerging problems. 📐
- Quality Control & Assurance: Conducting regular site inspections, material tests, and surveys to ensure strict compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. 🔍
- Liaison & Coordination: Acting as the key point of contact between project managers, architects, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication and project flow. 🤝
- Progress Monitoring: Tracking project progress, preparing daily reports, and maintaining accurate site records, including logs of labor, equipment, and materials. 📊
- Health & Safety Enforcement: Implementing and monitoring rigorous health and safety protocols to ensure a zero-accident work environment. ⚠️
- Problem-Solving: Quickly identifying and troubleshooting on-site issues, proposing effective technical solutions to keep the project on track.
🛠️ Must-Have Skills & Software Proficiency:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer, Site Manager, or similar hands-on role in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSH guidelines, and building codes.
- Expert Proficiency in the following software is ESSENTIAL:
- AutoCAD (for reviewing and marking up drawings) 🖥️
- Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word for reporting)
- MS Project or similar project management software 📅
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate on-site teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a results-driven attitude.
- Outstanding communication and reporting skills in Farsi. Proficiency in English is a significant advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings with precision.
