Key Responsibilities 🎯
- Advanced Data Analysis: Mine and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic business decisions. 📉
- End-to-End Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated dashboards and reports using modern BI tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Strategic Insight: Translate business needs into analytical questions and use data to tell a compelling story, providing clear and actionable recommendations to stakeholders and executives.
- Data Management: Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data collection processes, data quality, and data governance frameworks.
- Predictive Modeling: Develop and implement statistical models and forecasting techniques to predict future trends and business outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departments across the organization (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts, promoting best practices in data analysis and visualization.
Must-Have Skills & Software 🛠️
- 10+ years of professional experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or data science role.
- Programming & Querying: Expert-level proficiency in SQL for complex querying and Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy) or R for statistical analysis.
- Data Visualization: Mastery of leading BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Database Knowledge: Extensive experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Statistical Acumen: Strong foundation in statistical concepts, A/B testing, and predictive modeling.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and distill it into clear insights.
Nice-to-Have Skills 🌟
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
- Experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt).
