🔧 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Design & optimize well drilling, completion, and production strategies
✔ Conduct reservoir simulations using industry software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
✔ Analyze well logs, production data, and core samples for performance enhancement
✔ Collaborate with geoscientists on field development plans
✔ Ensure compliance with Qatar energy regulations & HSE standards
✔ Prepare technical reports for stakeholders
✔ Troubleshoot production challenges (water/gas breakthrough, sand control)
💡 Must-Have Skills:
✅ 5+ years in upstream petroleum engineering (offshore/onshore)
✅ Expertise in:
- Reservoir Engineering (MBAL, Prosper, Eclipse)
- Production Optimization (Nodal analysis, PLT interpretation)
- Drilling Engineering (WellPlan, Compass)
✅ Strong knowledge of Qatari oil/gas fields (preferred)
✅ Bachelor’s in Petroleum/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
✅ PE/Chartered Engineer certification (advantageous)
